About Us
SportsYapper was originally founded by Eric Goldstein and Dave Grossman, two lifelong, die-hard sports fans who have spent the past 10-plus years working in social media.
Over coffee one morning, we were having a conversation about how we wished there was a place similar to Twitter or Facebook, but that wasjust for sports fans while they're watching the game.Over the next several months, the discussion evolved from "Wouldn't it be cool if..." to "Why don't we make it happen?" We then took the idea to Darren Bounds, a brilliant technologist, and the three of us set out to turn the idea into reality.
Since then, we've been working hard to create a place that gives you, the real sports fan, a home for sports chatter. No more trying to text five buddies at once after a sick play. No more ranting about a blown call on Facebook or Twitter while everyone else is talking about something else. And no more yelling at your TV alone.
Sick catch... yapp it! Blown call... yapp it! Amazing save... yapp it! Questionable coaching move... yapp it! For all those moments and more, there's SportsYapper.
This is just the beginning, but we're really excited to introduce Version 1.0 of SportsYapper.
